Duy Vu is the founder of Mid-American Financial Group. He is a Certified Mortgage Professional™ practitioner. Duy holds licenses in Ohio, Kentucky and Florida. He has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years, over 13 years have been in the mortgage industry. Duy currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals since 2008.

He is a past President of the South Chapter of the Ohio Association of Mortgage Brokers. He is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Professionals and Kentucky Association of Mortgage Professionals. Duy attended Miami University (Oxford), University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State. He received his Business Marketing degree. While at UC, he was founding father of his fraternity, Pi Lambda Phi. He played soccer for Cincinnati State.

After attending University of Cincinnati with an academic scholarship, I earned my B.A. in Business Economics. I knew that I wanted to be in the mortgage industry and find a rewarding career that would make a beneficial impact on people's lives. Being licensed in Ohio and Kentucky and affiliated with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals, National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and National Notary Association, I make sure that I stay informed on industry changes, updates and guidelines.

Today with over 8 years in business, Mid-American Financial Group, Inc, understands that this is our home away from home. We aspire to keep the family environment here. As we gather around for our monthly potluck lunches, we recognize how fortunate we are and show our appreciation by striving to give back to our local communities and organizations. With over 13 years in Mortgage Lending and Consulting Chris Lykins has the ability to help you find the right solution for any situation. As an accomplished mortgage consultant and manager he fully understands that the client must come first. There is always a solution to any situation. Chris is considered an industry leader when it comes to making the dream of home ownership a reality with extensive experience in FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional purchase loan products.

As a resident of Cincinnati for the majority of his life Chris is an avid fan of the local pro teams. Chris is also active in supporting the local charity Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati. As a manager Chris has received the manager of the year award three times in his 10 years as a manager in the mortgage industry. Taking a personal approach to each individual situation and using his experience and knowledge Chris Lykins can find the right loan for every situation.

With 12 years experience in the mortgage industry I am extremely well versed in all aspects of home lending. My primary position is to be the liaison between the client and the lender. I work side by side with a very talented group of mortgage loan officers to ensure that each client’s specific needs are met. I pride myself in helping those hard to place clients that have struggled in the past to get financing. As a wife and mother, the family oriented atmosphere here at Mid-American Financial is what makes it so enjoyable to come to work.

All through my working career, I have been helping and assisting people in one way or another. For 15 years, I was an Ophthalmic Nurse, specializing in diseases of the eye and worked for 5 retinol surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic. I then decided to pursue a career in the Real Estate industry. Upon the completion of my classes, I then decided to become a Loan Specialist in order to help people with their financial needs and goals.

I have now been doing this for over 10 years and get great satisfaction, for myself and my clients knowing that I have helped improve their overall financial situation, not only for today but have helped them try to achieve whatever their goal might be for the future. My greatest passion of all is helping and saving animals by working through the ASPCA and Humane Society.

Bryan Bates is the Branch Manager of Mid-American Financial Group located at 11260 Chester Rd, Ste 645 Cincinnati, OH 452426. He has been in the mortgage financial services industry for over 18 years. Prior to joining MAFG in 2009, Bryan was Vice-President of Midwest Financial & Mortgage Services for 10 years. After Midwest Financial closed brokerage operations to become a banking operation, Bryan was the Vice President of First Financial Home Lending for 4 years. Bryan graduated from Wittenberg University with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business. He was also a star Baseball Player for Wittenberg.

Since October 2001, Dan Broxterman has worked his way to many great awards in his tenure as a Loan Officer and Business Development Manager. He has earned the Outstanding Customer Service Award for 2010 and 2011, as well as Loan Officer of the Year Award for 2011, and has achieved many other awards over his tenure. Dan prides himself in his repeat and referral business over the years.

There’s much more about Dan that makes people truly enjoy working with him when it comes to dealing with their financial picture. He truly cares about people. He’s very genuine and approaches the process with an utmost honesty that is second to none. Dan is a native of Hamilton, Ohio and is married to Sandy with 3 teenagers. Dan is very involved in his church, his music and his motivational education. I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Finance. I have financial experience in various industries and disciplines ranging from commercial underwriting, to mortgage loan transactions. With this dynamic experience, I have cultivated the ability to solve problems in the most complex of scenarios.

Mike Plante has been in the mortgage services industry since 1998. His experience as a Loan Officer and Operations Manager over the years has earned him a wealth of industry knowledge. Mike is licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky and is a member of the Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals, the Kentucky Association of Mortgage Professionals, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Troy Salyers has been in the mortgage financial services industry for over 12 years.Prior to joining MAFG, Troy owned and operated Star Point Mortgage successfully for nearly 5 years. Before opening his own brokerage, Troy was the Sales Manager at American Sentry Mortgage for 3 years. He is a member of the Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals and the National Association of Mortgage Professionals. Troy attended the University of Cincinnati and received his B.A. in Business Marketing.
